Fanart Feature: BeneficBen

Hey there everyone, welcome to Halo Spotlight. The place where Halo community creations are put front and centre. In fanart features, we highlight artists and their creations.

For this fanart feature, we’re showing off artwork by BeneficBen. The artwork starts off as in game screenshots, and is then edited on photo editing software to bring out some extra creativity.

In BeneficBen’s own words “Screenshots, while set up using Forge FX & objects, have been edited to enhance presentation.” Below you can see some examples of this process, as provided by BeneficBen.

    Calamity!

“My magnum opus, this shows an alternative way for Master Chief & 343 Guilty Spark to meet during the battle of Installation 04.”

    Combat Ineffective

Spartan company survivors escape with their lives in the aftermath of a disastrous mission to cripple Grunt Colossus production.

    Mass Effect tribute

“For this scene, I attempted to recreate Mass Effect: Andromeda’s box art. I was really impressed with how the art merged the planet with the visor and I strove to replicate the effect in this scene.”

    ODST poster

Popular ODST recruitment poster often seen displayed in a barracks or pinned to a UNSC ship’s bulletin board.

A huge thank you to BeneficBen for taking the time to share this artwork. It’s always cool to see the different ways people create their Halo art. If you want to see more from BeneficBen, you can do so on their Twitter account.
